Schedule a guided tour of Rotary Botanical Gardens
Our garden consists of
18 distinct areas across 20-acres. Please allow yourself approximately
2 hours for your visit. Dress for the weather—Rotary Botanical Gardens
will be unable to refund for cancellations due to weather. Certain
garden areas may be used for events during your tour. Please show your
respect as you navigate around weddings, special events, etc. during
your visit. Handicapped accessible trails are marked; not all garden
areas are accessible. Rotary Botanical Gardens is not responsible for
injury or damage during your visit to the gardens.
You can schedule your
tour directly with Rotary Botanical Gardens or visit the Janesville
Convention and Visitor's Bureau and learn about additional tour packages
you can include while in Janesville.
$70
deposit required with registration;
remainder due upon arrival.
Cancellations must be received a minimum of one week in advance in order
to receive refund. Call (608) 752-3885x16 for all tour related
questions and concerns.
All school groups
must
schedule a tour prior to visiting the Gardens.
Rotary Botanical
Gardens has staff that specializes in children horticulture education
that can assist in planning your visit to the Gardens.
Chaperones of 1 adult to 5 youth is recommended. All
visitors are to be respectful to other visitors in the garden, stay on
the paths and out of the flower beds, and behave in a responsible,
respectful manner. Rotary Botanical Gardens policies and rules must
be followed. The gardens are NOT a playground.
Guided Tours:
A volunteer docent will lead your group through our gardens, detailing
the gardens’ history, plant material, and notable points of interest.
- Guided tours are available 9am to 5pm,
Monday through Friday. No guided tours on weekends. Tours should
allow at least 2 hours for their visit.
- Adults: $7.00 per person
- Seniors (55+): $6.00 per person
- Students: $4.00 per person
- Pre-school: $2.00 per person
- Requesting a staff horticulturist for
a guide depends on their availability and is subject to additional
cost.
Unguided Tours:
Visitors are provided a map of Rotary Botanical Gardens.
